What is Trap Sha3by ?
Trap-Sha3by is a sub-genre of Trap Rap came out in Egypt by the new wave of producers and Hip-Hop artists. It's Southern Hip-Hop Music, which has gone viral through recent years by artists like Metro Boomin, Travis Scott and Future, characterized by its Egyptian Mahraganat influences especially rhythmic and percussional characteristics as well as the slang. Since both genres have similar artistic approach due to social circumstances, such as poverty, insecurities and drug abuse. So it could be described as a fusion of both genres. Mahraganat producer pioneers 'DJ Figo' and 'DJ Amr 7a7a' have the credit for the first attempts to invent 'Trap-Sha3by' in tracks which were released in 2018. '3ayez Fin' in Arabic:عايز فين featuring Trap artist 'Marawan Pablo' with the Mahraganat artist 'Sadat' A.K.A 'Sadat El Alamy' who also was featured in 7a7a's 'Kharban' In Arabic: خربان with Trap artist 'Wegz KR', where the production seemed amateur. The genre has kept evolving by more other producers and artists such as; (Molotof, Wezza Montaser and Marawan Moussa and others).
